Trip to Flagstaff layout
Still need to add journaling but this is my first page made in my room. Made the snowflakes from HBENNETT's cricut design and did the title as well in Cricut design (OA).
This is our cat Sophie and she's always in my scrap room when I'm working. She especially like to paw at the Cricut machine when it's running.
This layout was done of my grandmother and I kept it very simple - using basic grey paper and jasmine font from Cricut. The tag is updated now with the journaling and it says "Once someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure". I think of her often, and I also think that's she's an angel watching over us.
Chit Chat!
My daughter LOVES to talk on the phone now, so here she is in her room talking it up. I made the phone in Cricut, and also used the mini-monograms font to do the title for this one. Still need to add journaling! I've been bad with making sure that I put that on which is odd for me because of my pages ususally START from the journaling and picture.
Family Report - It's 5 O'CLOCK somewhere!
You know that country song? Well it usually refers to Happy Hour - but I took that title and snapped some pictures at 5 o'clock one weekday in our house. And YES - my picture is not in there because I was taking them and I was cooking....weiners and beans!! It was a weird craving kind of thing. I just really liked this paper I had bought and it was pretty easy to add the the photos, made the clock and hands from George in Cricut and the journaling is handwritten and also used my label maker under each photo. Fun one!
Two new pages
This past weekend I made two new pages. One for Haley's 8th Birthday (below right) that I don't even have the photo yet. Now if I could always be on top of having the PAGE ready before the photo..that would be great!! But most times, the photo inspires how I scrap it so I don't think that would always work. But this page is for her 8th birthday. The 2nd one (below left) is the Easter page for this year. Did the oversized basket with the eggs, all with Cricut. That was a fun one.
HALEY'S BIRTHDAY PARTY
I finished a layout for her 8th birthday party. She wanted the Tinkberbell theme going on so this is the Pixie 6!! It's harder to see the 6 on there because I used clear acetate and put the white paint around the edges. Cuttin up is the font and the rest is printed on the computer. I used a little bit of the flock, glitter, foil on Tink's little stars that she looks like she's kicking up. I had fun with this one. I took the same picture of all her friends because they had make and take picture frames and necklaces to do so it helped to make the page easy to make too. I think I can probably do a mini-album with all the pictures I took (OK that's on my To DO list!).
